Barbara Hart, a New York City artist whose work has been exhibited
throughout the United States
and in Europe.
Raised in Brooklyn. I
received my degree in art from the University
of New Mexico where I
majored in printmaking.
I am an artist, writer and teacher.

I’m a lover of animals,
home, books and color.
I paint scenes of landscapes and animals.
I tear, cut and paste papers to create mixed media.
I write about what inspires me as an artist.

inspiration in dance, music and nature.
I love
textiles and was a weaver before discovering painting.
I taught
art classes at art centers, a private elementary school and after school
programs.
I
currently offer Saturday mixed media workshops throughout the year.
I am a juried member of N.A.W.A. (National Association of Women Artists, founded in 1889) and my paintings and prints are featured in private, public and corporate collections.
