Get your fingers full of paint and glue and lose yourself in creative bliss. Explore the art making process of collage. In this workshop we will focus on various techniques to make whimsical, eclectic and personal collages of your own, at the same time experimenting with composition, textural elements and great materials.
We will tear, rip, cut, glue and paint to your heart’s content. This workshop is the perfect way to ease into that creative mindset while learning a whole lot in the process. Be inspired and explore your creative spirit and express your personal ideas. Beginners can create with confidence and experienced artists will enjoy exploring new tools and techniques.
Various mediums will be demonstrated - using my supplies – including a collection of papers, maps, postage stamps, books, magazines, buttons, ribbons and other embellishments. Of course, feel free to bring your own mementos and photographs. We’ll also explore the formal elements of art, including texture, composition, line, balance, rhythm and color.
